Objective

Design the portable setup workflow for the future RGB Aura Creation Studio.

This issue should define the steps a user will follow on a new machine to create the profiles needed for LLM-assisted animation-pack generation.

Scope

Create a design document explaining the portable workflow.

The workflow should cover:

  • Discovering OpenRGB devices.
  • Showing detected devices and zones.
  • Confirming usable LED counts.
  • Marking reserved or unsafe zones.
  • Assigning logical zone names.
  • Assigning zone roles.
  • Describing physical placement.
  • Creating a device profile.
  • Creating an aura profile.
  • Generating a machine-specific prompt package.
  • Validating generated packs.
  • Running generated packs safely.

Acceptance criteria

  • A portable workflow design document exists.
  • The workflow is step-by-step.
  • The workflow keeps the user involved where automatic detection is unreliable.
  • The workflow preserves the data-only JSON animation-pack model.
  • The workflow clearly rejects arbitrary code execution.
