Objective

Create the first aura profile for the current RGB Aura machine.

The aura profile describes the visual style, layout interpretation, preferred colors, animation mood, and aesthetic rules that an LLM should follow when generating JSON animation packs.

Scope

Create a current-machine aura profile file, likely under config or profiles, describing the preferred RGB Aura look.

Required aesthetic direction

The profile should preserve the existing RGB Aura direction:

  • Dark blue base/background.
  • Slow green aurora-like motion.
  • Soft, calm, non-aggressive effects.
  • The Thermaltake/front fan zone should carry the most detailed animation.
  • Motherboard should remain low-resolution and subtle.
  • Top Fractal fans should use simple mirrored sweeps or shimmer.
  • GPU should use doubled adjacent green LEDs for visibility because of overlapping LEDs.
  • Internal lighting should mostly provide ambient color rather than detailed animation.

Required layout interpretation

The profile should describe the current known visual role of each zone:

  • Motherboard: subtle ambient/support effect.
  • Top Fractal fans: mirrored top movement, low-resolution support effect.
  • Thermaltake/front fans: primary aurora animation zone.
  • GPU: visible accent effect with doubled adjacent LEDs.
  • Reserved ARGB zone: unavailable and must not be used.

Out of scope

  • Full physical 3D case mapping.
  • GUI editor.
  • Automatic user interview workflow.
  • Portable profile generator.

Acceptance criteria

  • A current-machine aura profile file exists.
  • The file captures the current dark-blue and green aurora aesthetic.
  • The file includes zone-specific guidance for the LLM.
  • The file clearly marks the reserved zone as unavailable.
  • The file is suitable to include in the future prompt package.
  • Documentation briefly explains the difference between device profile and aura profile.
